SK Telecom Plans to Proliferate HSDPA Services in 2006

Korean SK Telecom plans to introduce HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) in 23 cities by the end of 2005. By 2006, the company projects to have HSDPA networks ready in 84 Korean cities. Separately, SK Telecom also said it is waiting for a decision on a standard for HSUPA (High Speed Uplink Packet Access), which it plans to start developing in 2006.
